TMA is a Partnership registered with the law Society of Hong Kong. It was established by two French lawyers, Eric-Jean Thomas and Eric Mayer, who came to Hong Kong in 1995.

In September 2010, TMA Hong Kong opened a French subsidiary, TMA Paris, registered with the Bar to the Court of Appeal of Paris.

TMA regularly advises clients doing business in an international environment involving both common law and civil law jurisdictions and focuses on the niche that best suits our profile: advising the many French and continental European entrepreneurs, companies and businesses trading with and investing in Hong Kong, China and the Asia-Pacific region, as well as the many Chinese and Asian entrepreneurs, companies and businesses trading with and investing in France and in continental Europe.
